%%%%%%%%%%''' Yes. There are downloadable versions for

which there is a C compiler. PPQ also
features ANSI color support as well as
win32 color support.

Can I see some screenshots before making a commitment?
+-------------------------------------------------------------+
Your 'commitment' would be less than 1 megabyte of disk
space. A screenshot would only show ASCII text anyway.
Nonetheless, see the following link:

What kind of game is it?
+-------------------------------------------------------------+
The game is very simple. You are an environmental activist,
and you are armed with plantlings and seedlings. With only
these tools, you must convert city-creating legislators to
forrest-creating hippies. Level teleporters will advance
you to the next level, where there are more legislators,
fewer hippies, and your mega-seedlings and decimators (city
removal tools) give you less points.

Is it hard to play?
+-------------------------------------------------------------+
That depends. Have you ever played a text-based game? PPQ
is a cross between Nethack and your standard MUD. If that's
still a little foreign, allow me to say this: The game is
represented by letters and things. Trees are percent-signs,
humans are h's (and H's) and objects are o's. The commands,
though, are typed like text and followed by the Enter key.
For example, to go EAST, you might type 'east' (or 'e') and
press the ENTER button. To get an object you would type 'g'
and press ENTER. The key commands and the symbols are all
listed in the in-game help system, which is almost always
accessible by typing the '?' button or typing 'help' and
pressing ENTER.

Hi! I'm Mark! I'm glad you scrolled down this far. I write
lots of code. I speak C (well, I say I do), Java, PHP, and
little bits of this and that. I like HTML/XHTML and CSS, as
you might have faintly guessed (but you certainly couldn't
tell by looking at this page). Anyway, I was born in 1985
and I could always use better employment. See the LINKS
page for contact info.
